    What are passive flight savings?

Passive flight saving is similar to passive investing. You can save money on your flights without doing anything.

    What is passive investing?

Passive investing is an investment strategy that has gained a lot of popularity over the last several decades. The whole premise is that investment markets (e.g., the stock/bond markets) are hard to predict and you should just invest a little bit of money into everything instead of putting all of your eggs into one basket. This way, you can sit back, relax and not worry about trading stocks/bonds.

Timing the stock market is incredibly difficult. This sounds a lot like the airline ticket market, right? It’s also really difficult to predict because prices are constantly changing.

This is where passive flight savings come into play. Just like passive investing, you don’t have to worry about timing airline ticket prices. You can book your flight whenever you want, and still be able to save money.

How can I start generating passive flight savings?

By simply syncing your email (your Gmail or Yahoo account).

Here’s what happens after you sync your email:

    1. Sky Key scans your inbox for any flights you previously booked / any flights you book in the future
    2. Sky Key takes these flights and looks for lower prices
    3. When Sky Key finds a lower price, it gets you savings without changing any of your ticket information. Your flight/seats stay the exact same… You just get money, points, or credits back

In other words, all you have to do is sync your email once, and you never have to do anything again. Sky Key will automatically save you money if it finds lower prices for your tickets. Want to learn more about how Sky Key saves you money on your flights? Click here.

How common are passive flight savings?

Pretty common. You are expected to generate passive flight savings on nearly 1/2 of the flights you book. Each time a ticket drops in price, it does so by about $120.

$120 is some serious money. To put it into perspective, with $120, you can buy:

If you fly a lot for work or for personal reasons, you can save significant money by simply syncing your email to Sky Key. Many of our customers save thousands of dollars per year because flight prices often drop after booking. Don’t believe me? One of our customer’s flights dropped 21 times after they booked it.

    What’s the catch?

If Sky Key finds you $0 of savings, you pay $0.

If Sky Key saves you money. We charge a 25% fee. For example, if Sky Key saves you $100. We charge you $25.

What else am I missing? We get asked this question a lot, and I can promise you that’s it. You only pay when Sky Key gets you savings.

How do I get started again?

Click here to sync your Gmail or Yahoo account.

Or, manually upload your ticket here.

It takes less than a few minutes to get started, and we are always happy to help if you have any questions.
